I love you, I am so proud of the man you’ve become and the family you have created for yourself. But it is time to let go. Let go of the anger that has frozen you for 35 years. You were unable to express the sadness, the anger of losing me so young. And I am sorry. No little one should lose their mother like that. But you had amazing support and got through it somehow. Now, you can choose differently. You have locked that anger within you and it has shaped you in good and bad ways. I am calling on you to release the belief that you don’t deserve to be happy. You don’t deserve to be at peace.
Stacey understands locking into a mindset that says you can not be happy in a world without her mother. This is false. I want more than anything for your happiness but you must release the false beliefs you’ve anchored yourself to. They are drowning you.
